How true is this statement for you? It should be for most of us. Because the essence of sleep is that you are in multiple nice REM cycles per night, getting the proper amount of Z’s you need (hint: it’s 7-9 hours), not waking up multiple times per night for no apparent reason or bathroom breaks, your body is healing, repairing, rejuvenating, your digestion is doing it’s thing, and your immune system is building. Come morning, you wake well rested and ready to tackle your day. As Ernest Hemingway puts in his quote, it’s when he’s awake that his life can fall apart. Well…..
